Says in his book "Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind" When you think of big data, the same danger is lurking around. We think that we own the data but soon we will realize that data is owning us. Whatever we do, say and like; it is all data, continuously measured and used for many purposes. News you read, search history of all your devices, calendars, pictures, email, music -- all these combined are profiling you. Machine learning personality assessments are now more accurate than: -- co-worker after 10 likes, -- friend or co-habitant after 150 likes, -- spouse after 300 likes.

In my last article about Blackbox Society we had discussed how biased algorithms are influencing our society. If you are familiar with machine learning algorithms you would know that there are different type of algorithms for different purpose. There is no one solution or one approach that fits all. Based on the data type, category of problem and constraints you identify the algorithm. With so many techniques and algorithms will there be a single master algorithm that solves all the problems including choosing, prioritizing and combining various algorithms.

The theory of natural selection is a masterpiece, probably the most compelling idea ever. If you haven't read Charles Darwin, then The Genius of Charles Darwin is an uncommonly good television documentary written and presented by evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins. Dawkins uses the term "Selfish Gene" as a means of expressing the gene-centered view of evolution in his book "Selfish Gene". From the gene's point of view, evolutionary success ultimately depends on leaving behind the maximum number of copies of itself in the population. It reveals that, in such a competition, the more efficient replicators increase in number at the expense of their less efficient competitors.

Slowly our inner person consciousness that observes all around and inside us will become conditioned based on AI based technologies. We can't stop this God-like massive super intelligent system that we keep on building. For all rational conclusions I can confide in the advantages of AI super intelligence but one crucial question that hovers over our time right in front of our eyes "How alive would this AI will be?"; or could it be likely that man was never fully conscious –only partially and relatively more conscious than animals, trees and stones.
